Overall, good program with minor problems encountered and were rectified over the phone. Service Air assessment was very basic and as a previous Instructor for the ADF on DG Air, I found that this assessment was missing key and vital aspects of moving DG by Service Air. There was no requirements to complete documentation for the movement of Class 1 on Service Air. If scenario's were made to suit the movement of Class 1, it would require the consignor to research more eg segregation requirements, PPE requirements, can pax be on board (either as an escort or is the EO in support of an activity that the pax are involved with). This and the movement of the Gas Stove Cookers is where I believe we need to enhance the training on. It will enable the Land Force (Army) personnel to have the appropriate knowledge on how they can move their own personal equipment; in particularly, the stove cooker with the gas canisters. Happy to discuss over the phone or via email. POC is WO2 Andrew Hahn
